Hollywood Haikus
When Mark Shaw came up to visit a while back, he told us of a pub game that he had been playing recently - composing haiku that summed up movies. He demonstrated the game thus:

it’s not a good plan.
It’s Jurassic Park, you see?
Anyway, len and I went out for dinner a couple of weeks ago and ended up waiting for AGES for our food. I can’t remember how it came up, but we started to think of a few more. I then mentioned it to Mark again, who came up with a few more, and finally made the mistake of mentioning it to Dave and Aly who went completely over-the-top and made up about 40 of the damn things. At this stage I decided to put them on a website and purchased www.hollywoodhaikus.com. So now, each day a new film will be published on that blog, and people can make up their own contributions and add them via the comments.
So far, there are some good ones. It’s worth a look.
