I still like my flat
Went back to see my flat for the first time since I put the offer in, and I still really like it - noticed a couple of things I hadn’t noticed before which will need changing, but they’re not desperate and I can do them eventually, once I’ve moved in and got settled.
Most importantly, the kitchen is bigger than I remember, and the problem cupboard (which may have forced me into buying a ’slimline’ cooker) is easily removable. So no need for ripping out units or smashing things up. “Boo,” says the fire-building, beer-swilling, drill-owning male in me; ”Thank the Lord for that,” says the lazy child.
I’m excited now…
